Preventing Hazing
Holding membership in a student organization, athletic team, or social club can provide Harvard students with many benefits. But, membership can also come with its costs, particularly when hazing is involved…

Campus-Community Collaborative

The Campus-Community Collaborative was formed in January 2007 as an advisory council for the Office of Alcohol & Other Drug Services (AODS). Our mission has three primary goals:

  • To increase interdepartmental communication regarding alcohol and other drug prevention initiatives.
  • To create opportunities for increased collaboration with members of the larger Cambridge community on alcohol and drug issues.
  • To discuss common alcohol and drug-related issues and concerns shared by the various constituents represented in this coalition.

We are fortunate to have a diverse membership that represents many of the key stakeholders throughout Harvard University, as well as representatives from the City of Cambridge and individuals from other local universities.  Membership Roster

Technical Assistance

Among several other roles, the Office of Alcohol and Other Drug Services (AODS) serves as an information clearinghouse.  If you have questions about alcohol or other drugs, how to speak with a student, or where to go for help, feel free to call AODS at 617-496-0133 or stop by our offices at 7 Linden Street in Harvard Square.  Many students use our services to gather data and information pertaining to substance use at Harvard University for academic research projects.
