HPV Vaccine/Gardasil
A vaccine has recently been approved to prevent infection with certain types of the human papilloma virus, or HPV, which causes genital warts and most cases of cervical cancer – the second biggest cancer killer in women. Gardasil protects against four HPV types which together cause 70% of cervical cancers and 90% of genital warts.
