The practice is conveniently located at the main HUHS clinic in the Smith Campus Center in Harvard Square. Pediatric urgent care is also being provided by Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. Pediatric patients should call (617) 661-5575 (24 hours a day).
Anyone who is a member of a health plan accepted by Atrius Health (Harvard Vanguard) is eligibile to become a patient of the Harvard Vanguard Pediatrics at HUHS practice. More information can be found on the Atrius Health website.
An appointment is required for all pediatric visits.
Well-child and adolescent visits offer an opportunity to review growth and development, administer immunizations, address concerns, answer questions, and dispense guidance on injury and illness prevention while monitoring normal developmental milestones.
Appointments for illness or injury can usually be scheduled for the same day and weekend and evening care is also provided by Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. Pediatric patients should call (617) 661-5575 (24 hours a day).
Atrius Health (Harvard Vanguard) follows the schedules for immunization recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
We are excited that Dr. Naomi Priver has accepted a position in the new practice. Dr. Priver has been caring for our patients since 2007, and she will be joined by Dr. Hongchao Zhou. Dr. Zhou has been a pediatrician for more than 20 years. He received his medical degree from Henan Medical University in China and is currently completing his fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at Boston Children’s Hospital.
