Flu Vaccine and COVID-19 Booster Updates

As of December 8, 2022, HUHS is no longer offering large vaccine clinics. Community members looking to receive an updated/bivalent COVID-19 booster or the flu shot should contact their primary care provider’s office or schedule an appointment with a local retail pharmacy.

Both flu vaccine and the new bivalent COVID-19 booster vaccine are available at HUHS.

Clinic Offerings: Harvard University Health Services offers vaccine clinics every Monday and Tuesday from September 19 to December 6, 2022 (no clinic on October 10), from noon (12:00 pm) to 3:00 pm, in the Smith Campus Center’s Mount Auburn Room on the 2nd floor. Clinics are offered at other Harvard locations too.

For a list of available clinic dates and times, see the HUHS Vaccine/Booster Clinic Calendar

Who is Eligible: Individuals with a Harvard ID or a BCBS card for one of the Harvard-sponsored insurance plans are eligible to make an appointment and receive a vaccine through HUHS.

  • Walk-in appointments are for flu only. COVID boosters are available by appointment only. Schedule your appointment on the HUHS Patient Portal.
  • Please note, we will do our best to respect the appointment time you scheduled, however, there may be a delay, so we appreciate your patience.

High-Dose Flu Option: Those who are over age 65 are eligible for the high-dose flu vaccine. HUHS suggests discussing with their primary care provider to determine eligibility.
