Help Us Measure Student Wellbeing 

This year, Harvard University will participate in the American College Health Association-National College Health Assessment (NCHA). This voluntary survey evaluates the behaviors, health, and wellbeing of graduate and undergraduate students.


When is the survey available? 

On Monday, February 26, graduate and undergraduate students will receive an email from Dr. Nguyen via the NCHA that links to the survey. The survey will remain live through Monday, March 11.  

Are results confidential? What are the topics?  

YES. Results will only be reported in the aggregate. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: 

  • Exercise and nutrition 
  • Interpersonal relationships 
  • Substance use  
  • Sexual health 
  • Mental health 
  • Sleep habits 

Why is this survey important? 

Input from the NCHA provides valuable insight into the needs of our diverse student body. The results will assist the University in developing education and adjusting services to further support student needs. 

Is there an incentive? 

Participants will receive a $10 gift card upon completion.
