CrimsonEMS is a student-run emergency medical services (EMS) organization at Harvard College. The program facilitates the training, certification, and volunteer service of emergency medical technicians (EMTs) at Harvard University.

CrimsonEMS provides emergency medical care at many social and athletic events at Harvard University, including club, intramural, and varsity sports; parties and large College-wide events; Convocation and Commencement; the Harvard-Yale Football Game, reunion events, move-in, and others. EMTs in the organization fully operate within the EMT scope of practice and have the capability to provide on-scene medical and trauma assessment and treatment. EMTs carry a full range of lifesaving medications and equipment, from ice packs and bandages to Narcan and defibrillators. CrimsonEMS also facilitates a fully-subsidized EMT training course taught by Pro EMS, Cambridge’s primary transporting 911 agency. All members of the organization are licensed EMTs in Massachusetts.
